A rare Victorian match holder dating back to 1869 in silver with identification ponzonatura, coming from England, specifically from the town of Chester, which makes it a rare object considered that the silver marked in the town and the Georgian and Victorian period are difficult to find.

Details of the Ponzonatura:
- W.N: brand that identifies the producer William Neal who began his activity as Argentiere in 1950; Subsequently in 1905 the brand changed to W.N & Son Ltd.
- Lion Passante: brand to guarantee the silver in use from 1544 to 1999
- Shield: the brand characterized by a shield containing a dagger between three grain covons is the brand of the city of Chester introduced in 1779 and maintained until closing.
