Vintage carved wood kifwebe mask from the Songye people of Democratic Republic of Congo. Exceptional stylized sculptural piece with culture and history. Traditional black painted carved striations with signs of age. Kifwebe masks are worn by dancers and used in many social and religious rituals of the Songye people including spiritual protection, rites of passage, celebrations, and social regulations.

Delivery Details

Delivery will take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
