Vintage Postmodern Wall Lamps from Bilumen, Italy, 1990, Set of 2

Flap is an imposing set of 2 rare wall lamps realised by the Italian prestigious company Bilumen.
The style of these refined lights is typical of their age, a postmodern design.
In fact the shape and the use of colours can link us to Sottsass' realisation even if we don't have any proof of that.
These wall lamps have a really solid and impeccable structure. They work with halogen light bulbs. Once installed on the wall, the glass lamp shade can be flip from 120° to 180° ( perpendicular to your wall). The clear glass is really solid and it's 1.2 cm / 0.5 inch thick.
The metal body is lacquered in a shiny grey colour which is reminiscent of cast iron. The flipping part is coloured in an eye-catching pink nuance.
Both of the lamps comes in perfect conditions (no chips or cracks or faded colour) and shows the original label with the date of realisation (June 1990) and the model name. These gorgeous set can easily fit in any kind of environment by donating to it a refined Italian design look.
