Original vintage Dan passport mask mounted on iron display stand. These traditional masks were used for dancers of the slit eye Deangle carried them as tribal identification. Deangle looked after the young male initiates in the bush. This small mask is carved in lightweight wood and dyed black. Rich old patina with signs of age.
