Italian Beveled Wall Mirror, Rococo style, Vintage Mirror, Wall decor, Home Decor, Wedding Decor, Interior design! A great decorative mirror that would certainly grace any wall. This wall mirror in Rococo style is made in giltwood; the wooden frame is a mixture of gypsum (calcium carbonate), sticky vegetable resins, honey, lin-seed oil and marble powder (a process known as “a pastiglia” born in Italy at the end of the 15th century) has been deposited, then the “bolo Armeno” red-pigmented clay powder, mixed with glue, once dried everything was applied with very thin gold leaves (leaf gilding). Measures: 62 cm x 52 cm / inches (with the frame). Condition: It is in excellent vintage condition on the crystal mirror with no scratches or chips, except the frame has visible cracks as pictured.
