Vintage Design

A wonderful antique Bakhtiar rug, woven circa 1920. The design, reminiscent of Caucasian rugs, features three geometrical medallions on a terracotta field framed by an indigo border along with a few tribal figures. Great quality wool with a nice chunky feel and beautiful secondary colours - a highly decorative rug.

Size: 1.93m x 1.49m (6ft 4in x 4ft 11in)

This rug is in very good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
