A fantastic mid-century geometric abstract composition titled ‘The Library’, dated 1966 and painted in oil onto board. The composition features a meticulous arrangement of rectangular shapes and lines, evoking the structured complexity of a library’s architecture. The painting uses a palette of monochrome tones, such as greys, whites, and browns, punctuated with vibrant pops of colour—reds, yellows, greens, and blues—that add energy to the otherwise subdued composition.
