Vintage Design

Rico and Rosemarie Baltensweiler have been designing and producing lights in their factory in Ebikon, Switzerland, since the 1950s. This rare clip-on lamp shows a lot of what BALTENSWEILER stood for at that time: perfect workmanship with the best functionality, designed with cool elegance. The model is easy to imagine as a prop in historical James Bond films in the villain's office. Due to the arrangement of 2 tilting and 2 swivel joints, the lamp can be brought safely into almost any position and only lights up where required.with slight signs of wear. In addition to perfect workmanship, especially the joints, the pressure switch is an unusual solution, hidden under the light gray plastic cover on the cylinder of the faceplate.Chrome-plated brass, lacquered iron, anodised and lacquered aluminum, an E 27 burner, pressure switch hidden under the cap on the faceplate.
