A small landscape by an outstanding Polish landscape painter - Stanisław Kamocki. An artist highly valued on the Polish antiquarian market.

The picture is painted with oil technique on canvas, in a characteristic style developed by the artist in the studio of Jan Stanisławski. It presents hills with rich, multi-colored vegetation. The main theme is the harmony of colors found in nature. It delights with the richness of colors, maintained in a uniform color intensity.

In this small format you can find a whole range of colors - from whitewashed blues, through purples and pinks, reds and oranges, golden yellows, olive and turquoise greens to warm brick and cool browns.

Stanisław Kamocki (1875-1944) - Polish painter and graphic artist. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow under the tutelage of the best painters: Jacek Malczewski, Jan Stanisławski and Leon Wyczółkowski, whose influence is visible in his work. He continued his education in Paris. Later professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and the School of Fine Arts for women. Member of the Society of Polish Artists "Art", the Vienna Secession, and the founder of the Society of "Podhale Art". One of the most outstanding continuators of the Jan Stanisławski school of landscape painting. Associated with the Zielony Balonik (Green Balloon) cabaret, he created posters and decorations.
