Pair of paintings depicting scenes of peasant life.

Made in oil on wood, these two oval-shaped paintings depict typical rural scenes with roosters and farmers.

Datable to the end of the 19th century with majestic frames in eighteenth-century style but contemporary with the paintings.

Author unknown.

The works are in excellent condition, the frames being pastille and gilded with gold leaf have some small defects.

Ideal for decorating your rooms, these elegant paintings will embellish your walls.
