About This Piece

Antique religious painting. It is a work made in oil on canvas and representing the scene of Eliezer and Rebeca at the well, 18th century. The work depicts Rebekah, future wife of the Hebrew patriarch Isaac, conversing with Eliezer, who was a servant of her future father-in-law Abraham, at the well. Chiaroscuro tones of excellent quality have been used, providing great luminosity and realism to the main figures. It retains its original rectangular polychrome gold wooden frame.
Measurements: 157 cm wide x 133 cm high.
