Vintage Design

Beautiful Scandinavian Modern easy chair made in Denmark in the 1940s and attributed to Fritz Hansen. Legs in stained beech. The chair has been reupholstered in green mohair velvet. Grand Mohair by Danish Art Weaving: Mohair is made from the hair of the Angora goat and is known as 'the diamond' of natural fibers, yarns and textiles. For over two centuries, mohair has been refined into a product of the highest quality in furniture fabrics, fabrics for clothes and is today one of the world's most exclusive natural fibres. Very good condition. Completely reupholstered by Danish upholsterer in green mohair by Danish Art Weaving. New stuffing and spring irons.
