Vintage Design

Primitive architectural carved wood mounted Indian horse head. A beautiful piece of folk architecture from the Indian continent, the horse head was usually found marking doorways warding of bad spirits. This naive carving has distressed green painted finish, and is mounted on an iron and wooden stand. The ornament is 19” tall, and 13 long and 6” wide.
