Porcelain figurine representing a trumpet player from the "Monkey Band" (Porzellanmanufaktur Scheibe-Alsbach, Germany, 1970s). Painted in polychrome and gold. The "Monkey Band" ('Affenkapelle' in German) was originally designed by Johann Joachim Kändler for Meissen Porcelain Manufactory in the mid 18th century.
Height: 13.5 cm/5.3''; width: 9 cm/3.5''; depth: 6 cm/2.4''. Fully marked at the bottom, impressed: 4012/5. Excellent vintage condition.
