The idea for this painting was taken from the frescoes in the Palace of Knossos dating back to 1500 BC After sketching out her images on a multi-layered ground Penny created a cerulean blue backdrop for her dancing ladies. In a black wood edge frame Image 60cm x 70cm. 23.5" x 27.5"
