Vintage Design

A pair of hand-painted models of the human ear showing the outer ear and also the inner Tympanic membrane with malleus and incus. In good condition and marked with explanatory labels on the wooden plinth. Model one is made from Somsoplast whilst the second of the two models is handmade from plaster. The second model is made by the German company ‘Block Steger Lips, Leipzig, and dates to around 1890. The models make wonderful focal points and look great displayed even if not owned by the most serious of collectors! Germany, circa 1900.
