Vintage Design

Minimalist Scandinavian perforated sheet metal shade wall lights designed by Börge Lindau and Bo Lindekrantz for Zero Light Co., Sweden. Roland Gill and Andris Nolendorf, the founders of ZERO became acquainted with designer duo Börge Lindau & Bo Lindekrantz whose task was to create new products, including some new ideas about light fixtures made of perforated metal. However, Roland and Andris saw the potential and thought it was so exciting they started Zero. From nothing, right in the centre of Nybro, south-east Sweden.
Until the mid-1980s, Lindau & Lindekrantz were the only Zero designers.
For Europe the wall lights use energy saving bulbs.
For US and UK the lights will be rewired.
