Superb set of three prototype vases in glazed ceramic designed by the prestigious Spanish ceramist Antonio Peyró in the late 40s early 50s stamped at the base with the studio logotype, Porcelanas Peyro Spain.
The beautiful set of Vases were prepared to be used as lamp stands with a whole at the bottom to pass the light cable, this rare pieces were probably a prototype of a new lines of products to be released by the company but never made it to the production line as no other example of them is available anywhere else.
Acquired in auction of the personal workshop of Antonio Peyró in Valencia held by its descendants a few years ago
