Drypoint and aquatint (brown ink) on cream paper. Signed ''Rehn'' in pencil on the lower right margin. Titled and numbered in pencil on the lower left margin. Edition of 25 prints. From the series of 18 etchings ''Mein Weg mit dem Weib'', published in Dresden in 1919. Plate representing a lovely scene in excellent conditions except for some minor ink stains on the higher left margin. The signature, title, and number of the edition lightly faded. Beautiful and moving Symbolist etching with fresh impression and delicate line, by the German engraver, sculptor, and watercolor painter Walter Richard Rehn (1884-1951). This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. The shipping may require additional handling days to require the licence according to the final destination of the artwork.
