Legendary Italian design brand Gufram celebrates its radical heritage with the new Piper Collection—available exclusively.
The Piper Chair wasoriginally designed by radical architect-designersCeretti/Derossi/Rossoin 1966 for the Piper, a famous nightclub and exhibition space for avant-garde creatives in Turin at the time. Gufram was also born in Turin in those days and has from the beginning dedicated itself to experimentions in design culture.
Paying honor to the roots of radical art and design, Gufram has faithfully recreated the Piper's layered fiberglass shell body and cubic, wooden base. The collection replicates the original Space Age form usingthe original drawings and historic photographs and is offered in the four original colors: pink, blue, green, and orange.
