The Rat is an original Contemporary artwork realized in 1973 by the Italian artist Leo Guida. Original Colored Etching on paper. Titled, hand-signed and dated in pencil on the lower margin: prova d'autore ''il Volo del ratto'' 1973 Leo Guida. Artist's Proof. Excellent condition. Leo Guida. Sensitive to current issues, artistic movements and historical techniques, Leo Guida has been able to weave with many generations of young people in the course of his career, a productive conversation on art and the function of the artist. He was a teacher at the Liceo Artistico in Latina from 1969 to 1985, and he trained many of the artists who today characterize the Italian cultural scene. Copious was his production of graphic works in which Guida showed all his talent for the techniques of calligraphy, etching, aquatint and burin etc.
