About This Piece

Vintage Design

Double side screen, on the ground, with 3 articulated components since mounted on large hinges. Each of the panels consists of a golden wooden frame, carved with acanthus leaves and other plant decorations. All 3 are stretched by a silk fabric, printed with butterflies and Asian houses under flowering trees.
If paravents no longer have this primary function of protection of air currents today, they remain appreciated because very decorative elements, and allowing to develop a space in a non-define manner.
