The production of earthenware in Germany in the 60s and 70s is impressive. It seems that potters compete in imagination to offer pieces with shapes and colors as diverse as they are bold. This large red vase signed “Carstens Tonnieshof” is no exception to the rule with its thick enameling decorated with vertical scarifications. It is an evocation of tribal or ethnic ornaments. Its beautiful shape and its original appearance will be in value on a pretty row, on the ground or on a Scandinavian shelf!

The large decorative vase takes a form of pitcher. Ceramics are in good condition, the shades are as lively as it was trenched, very beautiful rendering of the enamel. He wears the TuNNIEHOF CARSTENS logo on the back.
