Large Art Deco Table Lamp from Mazda, 1930s

About This Piece

Vintage Design

Founded in 1909 by General Electric, the Mazda company manufactures incandescent lamps and bulbs before being illustrated in the design of batteries, then becoming a precursor of green energy.
This large mahogany lamp, from the Mazda brand, has a foot and flared upwards.
There is an element of red copper in the upper part which has a shot switch.
The lampshade is in albalite, a material specially designed to surround the light source in order to diffuse it while attenuating its brilliance.
This article is based on a circular base with double collar in red copper.
This lamp will add a chic and retro touch to your living or work space.
