About This Piece

Joueurs de boules is a beautiful etching and aquatint on paper, realized by the French artist Maurice Flament (1884-1968). Titled, numered and signed in pencil on the lower margin. Edition of 100 prints. Representing three men playing bowls, this modern original print shows a wide gradient of blacks and greys and their shades, is in excellent conditions, except for some minor stains on the lower right margin, beyond the marginal line. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. The shipping may require additional handling days to require the licence according to the final destination of the artwork.
