Vintage Design

Gorgeous Italian Silver Pair of Nicest Candlesticks of finest manufacturing quality as well as of most elegant appearance. These candlesticks were made during HIGH VICTORIAN PERIOD (c.1875-80): They are stunningly made in following manner (baroque style): Surface of both candlesticks is excellently ornamented with chasing / chiselled work consisting of bulgings and lines / the candlesticks are attached to broad feet having appearance of a cloverleaf (trefoil). - Additionally, each of the candlesticks has a handle (thumb-hold) as well as a broad grommet.
Made c.1875 - 80 BAROQUE STYLE SILVER 800 ( HALLMARKED ) 1. branded by sign VC ( = maker's mark or abbreviation of VERCELLI ) 2. additionally, number 3 is engraved Attention: Hallmarks 1 and 2 are quite dimly visible.
