About This Piece

Monochrome engraving representing a painting by Louis Carrogis de Carmontelle (1717-1806) featuring the young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart playing the piano alongside his father Leopold and his sister Marianne.
This engraving was produced by the famous Parisian printing house Lemercier, founded in 1828 and closed in 1901.
The work is presented in a later gilded wood frame, with acanthus leaf and shell motifs, and an openwork pediment with carved laurel wreath decoration, framed by Girard Relieur in Angers.
This authentic engraving will appeal to music lovers, fans of the young virtuoso and lovers of objets d'art.
