About This Piece

We offer two beautiful animal sculpture on a base - a strong dairy cow of the 'Deutsches Fleckvieh' breed and a strong Bull. The cattle sculpture was created and manufactured by the sculptor Helmut Diller in 1961 - signed 'Helmut Diller Munich 1961' on the short side of the base on the right. Helmut Diller (1911 - 1984) was known for his detailed work - in addition to portraits, landscape and animal paintings, he created sculptural animal depictions that were praised for their anatomical accuracy and liveliness.
