The technical and artistic direction is entrusted, by the founder Alfredo Santarelli, to the master Alpinolo Magnini, already a teacher at the art school of art applied to the majolica of Deruta, to whom the merit is recognized to have strongly contributed to the rebirth of the Deruta ceramic. The production is at the beginning of sixteenth -century ceramics. In 1910 the 'anonymous majolica Deruta' society participated, awarded with a diploma and gold medal, at the Spoleto exhibition and in 1911 he obtained ample awards at the Universal Exhibition of Rome. from 1916 to 1918 he collaborated with the Serafino Volpi company, with the qualification of Capo Fabbrica. The manufacture remains active until 1920 year in which it is detected by Biagio Biagiotti who modifies its company name to 'Mailiche Deruta Cooperative', confirms the technical and artistic direction of Alpinol Magnini and supports the traditional style production with a modern style production . In 1925 the manufacture flows into the 'Italian majolica artistic Consortium' (C.I.M.A.) founded by Biagiotti and Giuseppe Baduel. The production, consisting of traditional, modern, rustic and copies from the ancient majolica, thanks to the consortium of which it is part, obtains great commercial success both in Italy and abroad. Since 1927, the factory, thanks to the idea of ​​a modern company of Biagiotti, has adopted electric ovens and machinery. In the 1930s, among others he collaborated with the Franco Mari manufacture. After the war, the production of the manufacture is marked by a provincial but internal rationalism and numerous artists undertake collaborations in various capacities. Since 1945 he has lent his work to the manufacture of the Milanese ceramist Nino Strada, in the following years Gabriele Bianchini, Emma Bonazzi, Enrico Ciuti, Ezio Cocchioni, Marcello Fantoni, Ruffo Giuntini, Gaetano Magazzù, Cesare Margaritelli, Aldo Pascucci, Settimio Rometti, alternate in the following years. Gennaro Strino, Alberto Stolz and David Zipirovic. In the 1950s, the headquarters of the factory is in Perugia in via del Forte 14. Among the collaborators of the following years we remember: Germano Belletti, Piero Dorazio, Cesare Teobaldo Pimpinelli, Giovanni Conti, in Giuliani and Graziella Melinelli.
