About This Piece

Vintage Design

Vintage arm chair in solid patinated Scandinavian oak tree and vintage "Olmerdug" upholstery. This model was designed in the 1960s and is ascribed to Henry Kjærnulff, Denmark. The style is modern but with playful hints to historical chairs. The frame is made from solid quarter sawn oak with an amazing grain and the seat and back is upholstered in the original Olmerdug upholstery. These traditional Danish farm patterns gave rich inspiration to the aesthetic, durability and composition of Danish Modern fabrics.
