Black Forest wood Drunk watchman floor or table top lamp There are multiple high definition super-sized pictures at the bottom of this page This piece is a tour de force of hand carving, absolutely exquisite work, there are a few versions of this particular lamp, the more modern versions have to allot less detail and the caring is generally a lot cruder, the master that made this piece knew his trade and his tools very well, he has captured perfectly the body language, the facial expression, everything is just spot on, these pieces are folk art and very highly collectable We have fully restored it, the light fitting has been replaced with a modern mount, all new wiring, plug and switch, it is now ready to go.
