Pair of fine Louis XV ornamental vases on a bisque porcelain pedestal, made in France in the middle of the 18th century: standing on an indented round foot with fluting, round vase body, slightly indented in the lower part, with two laterally attached ear handles made of leaf-like C-curves in relief. Recessed neck with openwork gordon decoration and bead ring. Below the neck ring circulating garland of C-curves with front and back central rocaille motif. In the lower vase zone circulating lancet leaf wreath. Garlands of free-form, fully sculpted small flowers hanging from the handles on the front and back. Each of the two vases sits on a separate small hollow round pedestal with molded base and top finial. White bisque porcelain. Condition: Min. signs of age and use, min. fire cracks, min. bumps, min. chips.
