Balance brass table lamp by Victor Castanera Balance is a playful and curiosity evoking tribute to the concepts of gravity and time. Dimensions: 40 (H) x 53.5 (L) x 13 cm Materials: Plated brass with steel base (also available in Glossy paint with marble base (Black)) The fixed impossible position of the orbs is an expression of the fragility of existents. All entities move and nothing remain still. Balance is a play with the concept of time – everything is in motion. Much of the greatness and beauty of Balance table lamp lies in the hidden. The materials are carefully selected to keep the lamp in perfect balance. The base is made from black marble, beautiful and heavy keeping the construction steady. Hand blown glass is cut with perfect precision to align with the steel boards. The metal spheres have just the right density to counterweight the opposite side of the lamps construction. The light comes from custom designed LED spreading even and environmentally sustainable light. The LED is made to last long but are replaceable when the time comes.
