Austrian silver excellent serving platter vienna art nouveau / made circa 1905 excellently made oval silver serving platter of finest quality. the platter's middle area has smooth surface / its edge is decorated with finest ornaments: flower's blossoms with leaves attached to stems (chasing work). excellently made scalloped edges existing. MADE CIRCA 1905 SILVER 800 branded by AUSTRIAN SO-SAID DIANA'S HEAD MARK 1872 - 1922 master’s mark existing: C.K It is CARL KOLBINGER who got right of manufacturing in the year 1902. His residence was in A - 1070 Vienna, Burggasse 116. Bibliography: Waltraud Neuwirth, Wiener Gold-und Silberschmiede und ihre Punzen, I , Vienna 1976, mark C.K on page 314.
