Art Deco Blonde Mahogany Buffet, 1920s

This Parisian manufacturing piece of furniture, above light gray marble veined with black, is made of solid wood and plating. It includes on a belt, two drawers, with drooping bronze handles that close with brass pads, and their original locks.
The lateral uprights of rectangular section are overseen, in the upper part, with a carved element, with a floral decoration and a rosary.
On the underside is a large niche that can be used as storage. The lower part of the furniture, on the doors shaped vertically, suggests slices of books; They close in the same way as the drawers. Note, the brass lock, in perfect working order closes from top to bottom.
Each side of the furniture testifies to the quality of the project, since they have two perfectly symmetrical wooden elements, known as "with development".
The whole rests on toupied feet with Godrons at the front, and on rectangular feet at the back. The funds and sides of drawers are in oak.
