About This Piece

Vintage Design

Paire de fauteuils en acajou massif, avec ceintures à traverses à défoncement.
Ils reposent sur deux pieds avant tournés en fuseau, agrémentés d’une collerette façonnée en partie haute. La partie supérieure, tournée en vase, se prolonge par une crosse façonnée d’où partent deux accoudoirs, striés avec collerettes, rejoignant le dossier.
Celui-ci se prolonge vers le haut, il est renversé vers l’arrière, et se finit par une rosace.
Les assises avec de bonnes suspensions sont réalisées de manière traditionnelle, avec sangles, ressorts et crin et sont en bon état, tout comme les dossiers.
L’ensemble est recouvert d’un tissu soyeux jaune pâle, aux motifs de feuilles de bambou, fixé par de petits clous rapprochés.
L’élégante ligne de ces fauteuils Directoire, épurée, ainsi que leur confort, sont des atouts intéressants.
