This elegant table centrepiece (''surtout de table'') with blue opaline glass was produced in France between 1830 and 1850, on the triangular base there are four cast cherubs in a sitting position, the stem, also in fusion, is richly decorated with leaf motifs, the blue opaline glass has wavy and shaded green edges. All the decorative elements of this table centrepiece make it a classic example of the Louis Philippe d'Orleans style.
