Vintage Design

Ten antique French porcelain dishes; they have a softly shaped shape; the refined baroque decorations along the edges are in pure gold; in the center stands a delicate floral design always in pure gold; the cherubs on the edge are completely hand-painted, therefore different from each other; there are also two initials "T M" handmade in pure gold, certainly those of the owner (or owner) of the noble house where these dishes were part of the table furniture. Produced in France in the Napoleon III style between 1870 and 1880 in respect of ancient traditions and the raw material (kaolin) by master craftsmen; "Porcelain de Paris" is a term that refers collectively to the various workshops and studies of porcelain decoration in and around Paris, France. It is not the name of any single company or producer and is usually applied to handcrafted objects of excellent workmanship produced between the mid and late nineteenth century. The producers are in some cases anonymous and generally unknown or have created only a few rare pieces. The antique porcelain objects of Paris are the most desired by collectors and are present in many museums around the world. Measures D.cm. 23 H.cm. 3.
