About This Piece

This cast bronze sculpture is in take-off perched on a tower shaped granite rock as a bird must generate enough airflow across the span of its wings to create the lift for an upward jump. The aerodynamic form gives the impression of sustaining flight around the gleaming gold surface of this abstract expression. Abstract bronze cast sculpture on sculpted granite base, signed, Dutch 1977. It is part of a group of three sculptures by this artist we have available.
