A silver loderein or snuff box in the shape of a book A silver loderein box in the shape of a book with engraving. 19th Century. The box is silver hallmarked with the silver tax hallmark V used between 1814 and 1831, and Master sign with the letter IB of the master Jan Bonket ( Amsterdam 1749-1789). Possibly a worn hallmark in the inside lid. The silver content is 833/1000. The dimensions are 3.5 cm high, 1.5 cm wide and 2.5 cm deep. 1 inch = 2.54 cm. The weight is 20 grams.
