About This Piece

Brooch in 18 karat yellow gold. Important round shape brooch, it forms a dome openworked with arabesques and of a floral pattern decorated with 4 small pearls and 5 round garnets in dahlia setting. The attachment system is a pin. Weight of the central garnet : 0.90 carat approximately. Weight of the other garnets : 0.70 carat approximately. Diameter of the pearls : 3/3,5 mm. Diameter : 4 cm, thickness : 7 mm approximately. Total weight of the jewel : 10,7 g approximately. Authentic antique jewel - French work from the beginning of the 20th century. Small mark of time on the back and on the profile, small restoration to the fastening system, not very visible. Our opinion : an antique garnet brooch with a delicate and refined floral theme.
